Who Are We?
The Kinloss Swimming Pool is unique in that it is a
non-profit private entity run by a civilian management team and a mix of
military volunteers and full/part time civilian staff.
A large part of the Pool's income is derived from
the RAF base on which it is located, and the pool and staff are supported and
overseen by an RAF committee comprising a team of 8 volunteers of various ranks
who meet on a monthly basis augmented by the Pool management.
In addition to the devotion and passion for
teaching of the excellent staff the military volunteers commit vast amounts of
spare time and energy into fund raising, engineering aspects, management
support and the general running and upkeep of the pool. All of our staff are
NaRS PL or NPLQ level 2 qualified as a minimum requirement, these are
nationally recognised lifeguard qualifications.
Our highest collective priority is the safety of
the pool users.
